This book is a revision of the health technology assessment guideline book compiled in 2017.
This guideline is a reference in conducting PTK assessments for the Ministry of Health, the PTK Committee, PTK agents, and related parties such as professional organizations, BPJS Kesehatan, health facility associations, academics, pharmacies, cross-Ministry of Health units, and as a reference material for PTK enthusiasts and observers in Indonesia.
This guideline explains the implementation of health technology assessments for aspects of clinical effectiveness, economic evaluation, and budget impact analysis in a separate chapter as a reference for PTK agents or other parties who will conduct health technology assessments.
This revised guideline also opens up opportunities for the use of new methods in PTK, such as adaptive PTK (PTKa) and the use of real-world data sources and evidence. The technical implementation of these new methods will be provided in a separate document. Despite the various shortcomings that currently exist, it is hoped that this guideline can meet the needs of PTK implementation in Indonesia, especially in the context of implementing JKN, by the PTK Committee and PTK agents, as well as PTK stakeholders.
